Ocean Park (18th July '08)

yay! i'm like finally able to update the different events in HK now~

*woohooooooo*

n this entry is gonna b on the day at OCEAN PARK .. !!!!!

this is the reason why i LOVE ocean park!

if only i can buy this back.. hahaz.. this was the biggest 神..
i bought the smaller version of it though

n this is what my dear kailin n obasan made me do b4 our entry to ocean park..
but SERIOUSLY, i'm tall enough for ALL the games *bleahz*

n after all the wo-ha at tt height requirement board, yay! i got my tix into ocean park..
my dear dolphins, here i come~

even the tix to ocean park is dolphin printed or rather, i went to snatch for the one with the dolphin picture :P

this is the whole group of us who went to ocean park~ *roar*

of coz, thought injured at my kneecap after da stupid lamma island tour, it din stopped me frm goin to ocean park..

hahaz.. and this is me n evan dear.. we specially took this picture with our injured kneecap..

poor evan injured hers on the 3rd day while crossin the *shake head* platform at KCR station..

1st stop, da sealions..

if you look carefully, the lazy sealiao has basically camouflaged itself against the rocks *faint*

for tt short 3mins where i stared at it, it basically din moved at all.. hahaz..

machiam sun-tanned and nua-ing eh :P

2nd stop, dolphins dolphins n MORE DOLPHINS..!

with kailin, laura n obasan darlings..

the dolphin gate leading to the ocean theatre where i'll c all my 神s..

n followin are the reason why i MUST go ocean park..!
nobody can imagine my 感动 when i c them performed..

nonetheless, i was upset at the end of the performance, not because i wun b able to see them,

but coz i c all these dolphins losin their natural habitat..

for food, they do everythin.. they no longer noe how to hunt for food,
swim with the others in the big blue ocean.. .. ..

*upset*

i guess this was the best i've seen..

den of coz, the other reasons for my smile on tt days..
the different kinds of 神s tt they sell in ocean parks.. i simply cant resist and bought one of them home to slp with my other 神s..

den i'll have more 神s to fight buddy's wiiky wiiky :P

after so many dolphins.. hee! it's time to c what i actually played inside the park :)
wahahahahaz, n i swear i played the tallest game u see in the picture below!!

will never forget how fabian n wilson shouted "i love singapore" at the highest point
and how they started all the vulgarities @#$%$%$#@ the moment the whole damn thing drop..
freak! i'm amazed at how i survived..! oh my ~

and also some other games like, roller coaster,
cable car where dear yixia was so scared n me n evan happily takin pictures,
raging river where dear wilson caused me n yixia to b totally wet.. still say will protect us, in the end, when the water splashed, he was the first to go down *faint* i'll rmb tt..!

finally, where ya zi's kiroro came frm.. khe uses her full strength to hit tt hammer game n got da kiroro for me.. obasan was the best.. she hit the gal's highest and got hu'er.. in times to come, i shall c if i can blog bout hu'er.. hahaz.. :)

and we took this guiness sky tower FOC tt's like the same in sentosa tiger sky tower..
the one in sentosa will cost tourist in SG around SGD 12 to go up.. hahaz..!
so definitely, u'll find the view in HK ocean park much better..
at the veri least, i dun c any cranes *oops*

3rd stop, panda n PANDAs

b4 goin into the panda place, we actu stopped by one of the gift shops to look around..
hahaz.. den found really quite some other cute teddy bears and took pictures with em :)

inside the panda house, there's like only 3 panda rooms eh.. the panda looks really lonely..

but sth really interest me is how they name the pandas.. hahaz.. n amazingly, there's one called ying ying, as seen frm the teddy bear, and another called jia jia which is the one below..

the panda r like really slpin n movin really slowly also.. although they're like a gift frm china, but hmmm, hmmm, they're like quite poor thing..

if pandas really gonna b extinct, i guess i'll b sad :(

4th stop, dolphin university

we were actually rushin our way to the dolphin university located at the children's world..
no idea why is it in the children's world, but it was freakin 630pm when we rushed ther..
some idiot told us panda world closes b4 dolphin university, so we head to panda world 1st..

as we made our way ther, passes by this really cute dustbin.. hee!
so definitely, i wun miz the chance and take photos with it with yixia too :)
kawaii ne ~! it's really feedin it with rubbish :S

all i can say now is, u c me smilin happily here, but i was cryin inside..
da dolphin university closes at 6pm ..!!! :(
i was really really UPSET :(

all the em i was so disappointed but none managed to comfort..
even msg buddy to tell her what happened :( haiz..

i think that was the only disappointment i had tt day :(

this was taken on the super LONG escalator tt takes us all the way to the peak of ocean park..
and tt's a yixia dear :P

the whole hk journey will never b the same without all these special ppl..
more will b comin up in the next few entries :)

n finally we decided to have a manly post at this podium..
i really tried my best to show my mani-ness le *oops*
yixia looks really cute like a small gal eh..
khe is really the most entertaining gal i've ever noe..

i'll never forget the journey we had frm ocean park back to uni at the MTR..
she + wilson = hilarious :P

back in SG

woohoo!

m finally back in SG le.. after getttin stuck in typhoon 8 again :S
typhoon seriously love us *shake head*

kinda have lotsa mixed feelings..
missing all the frenz in HK, missing all the time in HK..

welcomin myself back to reality~~
juz gonna say, i'll finish postin all my events in HK hopefully by this wk.. hahaz..

Snoopy World

mgt test have finally ended!! da lecturer's really clever this time.. he has like 4 different version of exam papers and the options r all jumbled up.. all of us really had a HARD time copyin *oops*
been too busy studyin for TCM :S

okay, for the sake of shihua san, once again, i pon school to do this.. hahaz =)

shihua san will really b happy if ya's here to c for yrself :P

so this entry is totally gonna b on SNOOPY SNOOPY n more SNOOPY..!

went snoopy world at shatin on 13th july actually, but coz of all the exams and sigh-seeing, kinda took some time to post this.. but it's okay, at least i'm doin it now!!

snoopy world is actu quite small eh, it's only the size of half the rooftop of shatin plaza eh.. but coz we really take photo with every snoopy and every part of the snoopy world, it seems as though it's really big.. kailin n jiemin says they're like bringin a little kid to snoopy world lahz.. but who noe in the end when we reach tt place, they were EQUALLY excited bout the snoopy *bleahz*

at the entrance is this really big snoopy house with lamp posts of snoopy n the bird (i think it's a woodstock, :X) surroundin the whole snoopy world..

n den we c this really funny board which says
"snoopy's world is equipped with mosquito catching machine"
quite funny eh..

but i think it's true, really din get any mosquitoes bites at all eh.. not bad not bad..

basically everythin inside has got to do with snoopy..

hahaz.. i think we're really veri kiddish.. who cares.. we're not in SG *bleahz.. i think even if i'm in SG, i might still do stupid things like these.. who cares!! la la la..

Lamma Island (12th July) + buddy =)

i finally can blog again after finishin stupid TCM paper juz now~ hopefully can pass.. hahaz.. no more heart ying heart yang.. soon i'll post the typical day in school.. hahaz.. SOON is the word *bleahz*

still have to post about snoopy world (for shihua to see :P), ocean park, day in school blah blah blah.. veri soon i'll do tt.. after all the papers ended..

31st july '08, ya wait for me..!!

so this entry is basically on lamma island which happens like almost 2weeks ago *faint*

It's yet another rainy day on 12th july lahz.. but we still head out with the school for the trip to lamma island.. they say we're gonna have a seafood lunch.. wahahahahhaz.. so most of us kinda looked forward to it and to c what exactly is on lamma island.. din noe it's gonna b a trekkin trip, i wore slippers, n literally slippers.. n this is the result of my slippers at the end of the trip:

*faint* i only wore it for 2weeks in HK :S

Lamma island trip starts at 830am.. omg.. been long since we all woke up so early le.. nonetheless, we still head out with all umbrella above our head..

finally we have all 6 of us going out again =)

and we really like to do stupid things like this:

amanda juz love takin pics of us at weird place, like GALS TOILET.. hahaz.. she even attempt to take pictures when we head over to Shenzhen at the customs.. + she loves takin pic with policemen.. she's really cute.. but we were always thinkin when will she get caught *oops*

after a long journey to central area, we finally board the cruise which will ferry us to lamma island.. it's another round of photo takings and photo takings.. hahaz..

"excited singaporeans" and joyce commented tt there were only 4 singaporeans :P

after like around half an hour on tt shaky cruise.. we finally reach the lamma island.. woah, it's really like ubin.. hahaz.. mayb a little more developed den ubin and with lotsa seafood restaurant with weird names like "hilton restaurant" hahaz.. all the ang-mo names to attract the tourist.. quite innovative eh.. *oops* and it finally lunch time.. the long awaited seafood lunch..

something amazed us when we set down.. juz beside our table got this flight of stairs tt leads to several boats in the sea eh.. den got this ah ma, though walkin slowly and shld b at least 70 years old, sudd make her way down to the boat eh.. in the rain to b exact.. we were all stunned and start to wonder what she wanna do eh.. den she started wearin her coat, throw out the excess water in the boat.. we were all like, "omg, what's she doin eh?!"

den the next moment, we saw another ah gong holdin to a walkin stick and makin his way down tt same flight of staircase and the ah ma actu hold him onto the boat lahz.. this is touchin.. she actu prepare the boat so they can go out into the sea eh.. and to think it's the ah ma who's rowin the boat for the ah gong eh.. *woah* i guess it's really sweet tt at their age, they're still so carin towards each other and goin out into the sea in the rain.. oh my oh my..

okay back to our "seafood" lunch, basically besides the mussels and prawns if u wanna count, i dun c y they termed our lunch as "seafood" though disappointed, it's a traditional chi lunch lahz.. we had our fill and r quite happy though =)

woots.. den it's time to head out again.. it was only den tt we knew we're goin trekkin up the hill *faint* my poor kneecap is gonna suffer.. n indeed it suffered seriously tt day.. nonetheless, i'm happy i made it up.. the journey up was hot wet tirin strainin :S

den we caught an eye on this board.. hahaz.. we din went in of course, but it's juz funny how they phrase the english.. it's like literally meanin they bbq butterfly in the gardens.. but actu, i think it's juz a butterfly garden wher u can bbq.. lolz.. phrasin and the power of english.. lolz!

and on the way down, we had like a 30mins break at this beach wher the ang-mo did change out into their bikinis eh *oops :X hahaz..

oh, n this is yeye's gang.. hahaz.. the bunch of NTU guys tt we meet here.. seriously ther's like hell a number of NTU ppl in CUHK lahz.. almost 60 of them.. majority engineers to b exact *faint* super flooded by their presence.. hahaz..

den after alightin, the tour juz ends ther.. no tpt back and we have to make our way back.. *shake head* so we decided to take a walk along the avenue of stars..

and i took picture with jacky chan's hand.. hahaz.. kailin was busy findin andy lau's hand which i think ultimately she found.. hahaz.. check her blog ba.. i bet she blog about it *oops*

interestingly, i found the beijing 2008 mascot tt have my dear ying ying :P hahaz..

tt's the yellow mascout called ying ying.. specially take to show ying.. hahaz.. cute eh..

to end this entry, i told buddy i muz talk about her wonderful camera.. the only camera i noe tt uses flashes and captures pictures of us without any flaws.. she's one crazy person who goes around with her camera and always says "liqi, u polluted my camera once again!!"

but she was the one who take the pics de :X i m innocent.. wahahhahahaz.. but she's really good with self-takin and her flash, WONDERFUL (like how she always says the word) hahaz!! :P

one fine day i shall blog on her craziness.. amanda says "ppl with alot of hair on their hands and legs r the most horny ppl" i can say i agree with tt!! hahaz.. jiemin's so gonna kill me..

after figurin out how to use picasa.. hahaz.. i think this will b my most satisfied blog pictures.. sianz, gonna start studyin on MGT again le.. soon i'll update more..
